Patient underwent an awake upper blepharoplasty, eyelid ptosis correction, brow (forehead) lift, and lower blepharoplasty with midface lift. The after photo was taken two months after surgery. All procedures were performed using local anesthesia only—without general anesthesia or IV sedation.
These procedures were designed to refresh and brighten the mid-to-upper facial area in a balanced way.
Eyelid ptosis (droopy eyelids) often causes people to strain to open their eyes, which can lead to forehead lines and wrinkles as people raise their brows to compensate for a weakened eyelid muscle. Ptosis repair strengthens the levator muscle, allowing the eyes to open more fully and easily, while the brow lift smooths forehead lines.
Upper blepharoplasty helped create more open, refreshed, and youthful eyes with defined supratarsal creases.
Lower blepharoplasty, combined with a midface lift performed through the same incision, smoothed the under-eye area and elevated the midface region just below the lower eyelid — improving contour and softening the nasolabial folds.
The results show a natural and harmonious restoration of the forehead, eyes, and midface. All procedures were performed awake under local anesthesia, allowing for enhanced precision, safety, and smoother recovery. This approach also avoids many of the adverse effects associated with general anesthesia and sedation, including grogginess, delayed recovery, brain fog, and cognitive decline.
