Before and After Gallery: Ptosis Repair

Results for a female patient in her 20s following an awake double eyelid revision and eyelid ptosis correction to make her eyes appear bigger. The after photo shows defined double eyelid folds that enhance her eye shape and make her eyes appear naturally larger.

Asian female in her 60s had uneven eyelids and bilateral eyelid ptosis. Ptosis is a condition where the eye elevating muscle is weak making the eyelid droop which can obstruct vision. This patient had bilateral ptosis where the condition was more severe in her left eye which appeared more sunken and hollow. She had ptosis correction that strengthened the weak eye elevating muscle and corrected the sunken appearance. In addition, she had Asian double eyelid surgery (Asian blepharoplasty) which created more balanced double eyelid folds. The after photo shows improved eyelid elevation (iris is more visible) and eyelid symmetry for a more rejuvenated appearance and improved visual field.
